Houses Of The Holy was released in March of 1973 just two months before I saw them in concert at Tampa Stadium in May along with 56,000 other people. I had purchased this copy of the album just before to be familiar with the songs. So obviously this is a 1st Edition copy. The record itself is in excellent condition. After the initial playing of it a few times it was filed away and never played again. No markings or scratches. The record cover is also in excellent condition. It opens into a gatefold. The cover is still bright and clear. No markings, no folds, no cuts and no separations. Even the edges show hardly any wear. There are 2 original inner sleeves. The usual one that protects the record has no markings and no separations. A slight crease in the corner and just very little yellowing due to age. There is a small 1 inch tear on the inner part of the sleeve. The other inner sleeve is more like an insert. It has the lyrics to the songs on the front and back. No markings, no folds and no separations. And very little yellowing (almost none, still quite white). If you collect 1st Edition copies of Led Zeppelin and even if you don't, this would be an excellent addition to your music library.
