Yellow label with 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. address on both sides; same address on the bottom of the back cover. Deep groove. Ther record has "RVG" inscribed in the dead wax. Leader, McLean, alto sax. Features Donald Byrd, trumpet with Elmo Hope, piano; Doug Watkins, bass; Art Taylor, drums. 6 tracks.
Cover: Fair Filiment tape has been applied on all edges on both sides. Light to moderate aging on the back cover. Small tear on the front cover on McLean's face.
Record: Fair+ Visually shows moderate overall wear. Many light surface rub marks and brush-like surface rub marks on both sides of the record. There is continious groove noise on Track 1, Side A. Some groove noise, but much less on Tracks 2 and 3 on Side A. Side B has fewer surface marks. There are 6 clicks at the beginning of Track1 (possibly 1 small skip). There is some light background groove noise through much of Side B but considerable less than Side A . In many places, no surface noise such as on Track 3, Side B. Audibly checked.
