Both labels have 203 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J. address; same address a the bottom of the back cover. Deep groove. Miles Davis, trumpet, on all 8 tracks. 4 tracks from 1953 also include John Lewis, piano; Charles Mingus, bass (on 1 track only), Percy Heath, bass (on 3 tracks); Max Roach, drums. 3 tracks from 1954 also include Horace Silver, piano; Art Blakey, drums; Percy Heath, bass; 1 track from 1954 also includes Davey Shildkraut, alto sax; Silver, piano; Heath, bass; Kenny Clarke, drums.
Cover: VG(-) 10" split on the spine. Some edge and corner wear. Light overall aging and very light stain near the spine on the back cover.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. Played only a very few times with care. Slight groove noise at the beginning revolutions on Track 1, Side B and at the end of the track for 1 or 2 revolutions. Minor groove noise for 1 or 2 revolutions in 3 or 4 places on Side B. Otherwise, no other surface noise. Fine overall quality. Audibly checked.
