Original pressing Jamaican ‘mento’ music from the 1950’s
LOML 503 12-inch LP 'Calypso Date'
An original vinyl copy of a Stanley Motta’s produced 12-inch LP from about 1957. These LP’s were originally sold with paper covers and large stores in Jamaica like Times Store added their own branded sleeve. Eventually, Motta got covers designed and printed in England.
This LP has no cover as explained above.
See scan for label condition.
Vinyl is nice and shiny and looks visually a grade VG+
♫ Please listen to the sound files so you can hear the condition then make your own judgement of the grading so that you will be happy with your record.
Please do not pay until an invoice is sent, as I need to adjust postage to make it a fair charge for both of us. I am happy to combine postage for more than one record.
FINAL POSTAGE CHARGES for LP records:
UK (1st Class Signed For – only if total record price is less than £50) = £4.40
UK (Special Delivery if total record price is above £50 for insurance cover) = £7.25 .... That’s what Royal Mail charges from 31st March 2015
Europe (Tracked and Signed For) = £11.10
North or South America, Japan, Australia (Tracked and Signed For) = £14.95 including insurance
Tracked and Signed For services are expensive but postage charges will be based on the cost that Royal Mail charges me to send your record(s).
You will be able to check the actual postage cost paid on the postage stamp when you receive it.
I don’t charge buyers for the cardboard mailers or for the eBay and PayPal fees (approx 15%) they charge me on the postage money.
I hope that you will be happy with your record(s) but if not, please let me know before leaving feedback and I will try to resolve any problems.
