Red label with silver text, deep groove, original issue. Leader, Herbie Nichols, piano; George Duvivier, bass; Danny Richmond, drums. 10 tracks. 7 tracks are original tunes by Nichols. Recorded in 1957 in NYC. Very rare original.
Cover: VG++ to Mint(-) Intact and clean. Slight aging and slight wear on the back cover. Slight wear on 1 corner. Fine condition, close to new.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. Possibly played only 1 time with care. On Side A, a few light crackles o the first 3 or 4 revolutions and 2 faint clicks at the end of the Track. The balance of Side A has only 2 barely audible clicks. On Side B there are 4 or 5 faint clicks on Track 2. There is slight, barely audible groove noise on the first 1 or 2 revolutions on Track 4 with 1 click at the end of the Track. On Track 5 there are a few extremely light clicks. I have detailed the condition but in general the noise is minor. Fine, collectable condition.
