This
is a very good original U.K. pressing copy (matrix A1/B1) of the debut LP by British group Penetration, released in 1978. After two terrific punk singles, "Don't Dictate" (1977) and "Firing Squad" (1978), the group proffers a more mainstream mix of power pop and proto-new wave on their debut long player, epitomized by the single culled from the LP, "Life's a Gamble." The record also includes a cover of the Buzzcock's "Nostalgia." The jacket has a good amount of creasing in the corners and along the spine and seams, along with corner
and seam wear, and light ring, spine, and edge wear (VG+). Visually, the disc has some hairline scratches and scrapes, a few small stains and dings, and some
light scuffing; and it plays with some light surface noise (EX-).
I
am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two
decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate
from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have
play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
