OUR GRADING SYSTEM
We don't use M or M- in our description of vinyl records.
Mint vinyl would basically mean they are completely perfect.
This is because we don't believe any used vinyl can be an accurate description.
*EX: Like new or near new with only one or two small insignificant defects or not. (Our highest grade for a used vinyl)
*VG++: Extremely nice. Would be EX, except for a possibly a few light hairlines or scuffs.
*VG+: Still a very nice record with all or nearly all of its original gloss but may have a few more light scuffs, surface marks, hairlines, but no surface sound or pops. Audio like EX.
*VG : A nice, but used record that may have a series of moderate scuffs or scratches. It probably plays with a some pops, surface noise.
*G : A well-used record that still should sound OK when played, but may have serious surface noise, pops, scratches.
You will not normally see records in these condition descriptions in our listings, as they all describe what we consider to be only a stop-gap copy at best - - just so the collector can say he DOES have the LP.
