ALEXANDER SPENCE-OAR 1969 COLUMBIA RECORDS LP CS 9831 in a strong M to M- CONDITION. Super Nice shiny clean vinyl!! Never played looking. Probably was Never Played. Jacket is M- to EX. You will not find a better LP anywhere. Vinyl is M to M- Never played looking. Apparently nobody wanted this record at the time, and no one knew who this artist was, at the promotion facility where I acquired the record. It was said to me that it sat there for 40 odd  years in the same spot on the same archival closet shelf, and that they were ready to demo the building, that they noticed the shelf had items on it that no one had ever moved. The flash on my camera is not allowing me to shoot a picture of the cover, without the flash in the picture, way I'd like to, so look at all of the cover shots and please ignore the shadow. Right corner top is the only light flaw.
This record was an apparent demonstration record (marked as such on rear)for Columbia, and nobody played it., which is why it probably survived. It needs to go into the hands of a true fan or collector. I hate to have to sell it, but time has moved on for me and I don't have much of a record collection anymore, most of which will get sold on eBay this year to pay for medical expenses.

Now, The story of "Skip" Spence is fascinating, as I'm now learning. One other eBay put it:
...By other accounts the record was recorded in one week. From Wikipedia: "described as "one of the most harrowing documents of pain and confusion ever made", the album was recorded after Spence had spent six months in Bellevue Hospital. Spence had been committed to Bellevue following a delusion-driven attempt to attack Moby Grape band mates Don Stevenson and Jerry Miller with a fire axe, after having ingested LSD."I wanted to start my description of this record with that back story because it is that story that makes this the psych album of psych albums to own!! Skip Spence, basically lost it and much like one of his contemporaries(Syd Barrett) recorded the madness.
