On offer here is a 1st Issue,early Variant 'Wish You Were Here' Vinyl LP by Pink Floyd,which was issued on the highly collectable Harvest label in 1975.This is the 'pinched spine'(top and bottom) edition,which comes with the cut-corner inner-sleeve and also original postcard.It carries the Matrix numbers SHVL 814 A-1 and SHVL 814 B-7.The SLEEVE is in a solid and clean condition,with just the merest signs of a little brown-spotting and I will grade as EXCELLENT.The INNER-SLEEVE is,likewise,solid and clean,with,again,just a little brown spotting(EXCELLENT).The postcard is EXCELLENT+.The LABELS are also clean and bright,but just have a few tiny splits around the spindle hole,so I will grade as EXCELLENT-.This brings me on to the VINYL,and as I know this is a desirable item,I will be as honest and accurate as possible.Firstly,the record plays superbly,without any skips or jumps whatsoever and is free of scratches.It looks visually excellent,but there is a fair bit of light background crackle throughout the album and is a little noisy on ejection(i.e on the dead wax) at the end of both sides,but,of course,this is after the music has finished.It would probably benefit greatly from a professional clean,as it has only been played a few times lovingly over the near 40 years period,still looks absolutely excellent and is probably suffering from a dust accumulation over this long period.However,for the reasons listed and how it sounds now,I will grade as VERY GOOD+.In summary:
