HUGE COLLECTION OF VINTAGE BIG BAND 78s FROM THE 30s AND 40s (from the RCA Victor, Parlophone, Columbia, Decca, and Brunswick labels) Any collector of vintage recordings should be excited about this grab bag of 78s and 16” transcriptions. Or maybe you’re interested in starting your own collection of original recordings from this bygone era. I am selling over 230 78s (Jack Hylton and his Orchestra, Henry King and his Orchestra , The New Light Orchestra, Louis Levy and his Orchestra, Patricia Rossborough, and many, many others). I’m also including twenty-two 16” transcriptions (including rare pressings of Lud Glusking and his Orchestra, Joe Rechman and his Orchestra, Thomas Peluso’s Rhumba Bank, Anson Weeks and his Orchestra, Billy McDonald and His Highlanders, Sterling Young and his Orchestra, Alan Young and his Orchestra, Henry King and his Orchestra, and others). There are even pressings of episodes of “Front Page Drama” from The American Weekly Program, and “One Night Stand” by Joe Richman, recorded by the Special Service Division of the War Department. There is also a two-record (33-1/3) 50th Anniversary collection of Paul Whiteman, Jack Teagarten, et al. Like I said, there’s no telling what you might find, but it’s bound to be fun. If you 'buy it now', I’ll also throw in this 78 player (which as far as I know is in good working order).
