CHARLES MANSON
LIE: The Love and Terror Cult
Aware 1 - 1970 / 1987 Issue
For your consideration is a scarce, 1987 pressing on Awareness Records of the 1970 debut studio  album by cult leader Charles Manson ... the tracks were recorded prior to the Tate-LaBianca murders  at Goldstar Studios in Los Angeles on August 8th, 1968 ... track #B3 was recorded in 1967 ...  It was  originally released on vinyl on March 6, 1970 by Phil Kaufman, through a record label branded  Awareness Records with a limited release of 1,000 copies ... this vinyl album is the limited edition  issue from 1987 on Awareness Records catalog number Aware 1 ... all tracks were written by Charles  Manson who also recorded the vocals, guitar and bass guitar ... the back of LP jacket has extra  shout-outs, and a detailed, fine-print prison interview with Manson about the recordings ... The cover is  a parody of the December 19, 1969 Life magazine cover, which featured Manson.

Condition of the cover and vinyl album is excellent ... the cardboard cover is Near Mint with most of it's  original shrink-wrap, it's flat and clean with no splits, writing, stickers, stains or damage, some light  wear on it's opening edge ... the vinyl is also Near Mint with just a few slight paper scuffs, it's flat and  clean with no warping, scratches, writing or damage, it appears to have been either never played or  played a very few times ... please carefully review the detailed images provided ... a super-clean,  collectible copy that will be professionally and securely packaged to insure safe shipping with no  damage. .
