Description: Offered here is The Blue Oyster Cult 'Tyranny And Mutation' (CQ 32017) on Columbia records. This is the original Quadraphonic SQ release from 1973. The SQ format is stereo compatible and this record can be played on stereo equipment revealing stereo output. This record was play-tested in it's entirety and it sounds very good plus (VG+). No skips or scratches and it plays clean both sides. The cover has edge wear, bent corners, and ring wear on both sides. Also T. Scott is written with marker in the lower right front corner. The cover shows it's age but is in good shape. Includes the original inner sleeve. T. Scott is also written with marker on the record label on side A only. This vinyl record has been cleaned in a two-step process. First a bath in a Spin Clean unit then vacuum cleaned with a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine. Please use the photos as a guide to condition. What you see is what you get. Ask any questions prior to close of auction.
Bonus: As a bonus a DVD-A/V disc is included. This disc contains 4.0 audio recorded at 24/48,000 in MLP, DTS and Dolby Digital formats. Playing this disc in a DVD-Audio or DVD Video player via a modern surround system able to decode any of these formats will reveal the original 4.0 quadraphonic listening experience.
