A killer Southern California should-be classic of west coast soul jazz / funk / blues … 

On the A-side, Johnson’s vocal renditions of standards, fluidity, intonation, vibrato and vamping put many great singers to shame. He is unqiuely himself, and a truly astounding interpreter and singer.

The B-Side is all killer instrumental jazz by the trio.

Plays with light surface noise : occasionally VG+ but generally EX- to EX condition.

Lightly-used with no serious scratches and only minor noise, much of which may be inherent in the pressing.

Cover is VG due to splitting on the seams and the black mark across the front
