The Beatles - 'The Alternate Please Please Me' CD

The Beatles 'The Alternate Please Please Me' bootleg CD. A wonderfully detailed and comprehensive package (28 tracks) featuring demo’s, unreleased takes, unreleased mixes and live performances. The CD also comes with a number of additional inserts. All in MINT condition.

The CD brings together an extensive collection of rarities from the Please Please Me era, including unreleased takes from the legendary 12 hour recording session which produced the ‘Please Please’ Me album. One of my personal favourites here is the original 1963 version (take one and take two) of ‘One After 909’ which was recorded in early 1963. These tracks really capture the exhilarating and rapid rise to stardom which was 1963.

This really is a superbly designed package with an exquisite level of detail.  

The package includes:

• Test pressing CD label - as the versions included here are unreleased it is designed to look like an acetate test pressing of the album.

• Cover featuring an alternate and very suitable 1963 pose. The flip side features photographs from the marathon 12 hour recording session.

• Comprehensive booklet - ’11th February 1963 10:00am - 10:45pm’.

• Reproduction 1963 Parlophone Records promo card.

• Back cover with track listing, dates, recording details and track timing.
