The ultimate pressing of one of the most highly regarded interpretations of Rimsky-Korsakov's 'Scheherazade'.  Originally released on Lp on the London Records label in 1978 to rave reviews,  this particular pressing (K38C 7008) was part of a larger series of releases in limited numbers through the reputable King Records division in Japan in the mid 1980s.  Their objective was to take well known and successful albums from the Decca catalog and re-press the titles using tried-and-true advanced methods to create the ultimate audiophile pressing...... the result was the 'Super Analogue Disc'.  In many ways it resembles Mobile Fidelity's UHQR series .....technical specs manual (in Japanese), heavy duty packaging, thick and heavy (180g) virgin vinyl, and especially the sound.....absolutely phenomenal audio.  The original 1978 edition was already fantastic..... but this more elaborately pressed version takes it to a much higher level.  The detail and depth is astounding.
Cover:  Near Mint
Obi:  Excellent(minus) .....a small square has been excised from the back of the Obi ...apart from that it is near perfect.
Inserts: Near Mint
Custom Die-Cut Inner-Sleeve: Excellent(minus) .....a small split to one side.  A higher quality (audiophile) inner-sleeve is included and houses the precious record.
Record: Near Mint.....perfect labels....flawless mirror-like shine to both sides.....looks unplayed.
