"American Top 40 with Casey Kasem" 4 LP record set #842-8, from the long-running weekly radio show hosted by the famous pop music disc jockey and based on the Billboard Hot 100 weekly chart. Set was produced by ABC Watermark and sent nationwide to radio stations.
This set is for the week ending May 26, 1984 (as shown on each record) and runs four hours, one per record. It's been stored for quite some time; we do not know how often it was played after its original airing on a local station, and we have not played the records ourselves. Records appear to be in very good shape with few scratches and scuffs, but they are dusty and could stand a cleaning by someone who knows how to do it. Each record is in its original plastic sleeve; we do not have the original box.
This is a cool look back at the top songs some 38 years ago. (The #1 hit that week was "Let's Hear It for the Boy" by Deniece Williams.)
