THIS is a RARE promo 12" Of Depeche Mode's In Your Room single that was manufactured for Mute Records in 1994, with the promo only catalogue number P12 BONG 24. This three track record comprises The Jeep Rock Mix (Portishead) and Extended Zephyr Mix (Butch Vig) of the title track plus the Adrenaline Mix (Francois Kervorkian) of Higher Love. It is housed in a generic Mute promo sleeve.

There was never a picture sleeve for the promo so I've coupled it with with an EXTREMELY RARE 26" x 13" (65x33cm) PROOF SLEEVE of the L12 BONG 24 version of the single, which is folded once in the middle to act as a cover for the record. (NOTE: the track listing on the sleeve does not match the tracks on the promo).

It is one of several original DEPECHE MODE records/promo art/display items from the 1980s/1990s to be listed in March, along with many more '80s/'90s promo posters, vinyl, tapes, postcards, etc. from other independent artists and labels.

CONDITION: Vinyl: MINT Never played, stored since new. Mute promo sleeve: Full shine perfect condition, no signs of use, storage, or handling EXCEPT for a 10cm across bottom left corner (point of corner unaffected). Proof sleeve: Some signs of handling but no major flaws. There's nothing more noticeable than three one inch (2.5cm) 'spine' breaks and some print rub on the spine. The printed information on the spine is clearly readable. NOTE: The 'spine' is actually the hand folded centre of the 26" x 13" proof print. 

PLEASE carefully examine the photographs using the zoom function. The photos of the sleeve form part of the description of the condition.

A NOTE ABOUT PROMO VINYL ITEMS: They were produced in small quantities by record companies in advance of release date for music business people like record company staff, journalists, DJs etc. They were each from a one-off copy run for the record label and were never on sale to the public.

PROOF SLEEVES: Extremely low numbers are made in order to check the printed design before the printing and manufacture of the record sleeve begins.

Everything I list is on a similar coloured background so that you know they are my own photos. 

I am the first and only owner of everything I list unless stated otherwise.

PACKAGING: Very carefully packed in strong cruciform mailer.

POSTAGE: 

The postage & packing charge for this item is the same or less than what it costs for stamps, packaging, and a minimum of 13.5% of the p&p charge taken by eBay & Paypal (yes, they really do that!).
