Offering is original owner’s RCA VICTOR LPM-1254, Mono Pressing (1956), self-titled, debut LP album “Elvis Presley”, 33-1/3 RPM LP, black vinyl record. Per the album’s front cover, the album is A “New Orthophonic” High Fidelity Recording.  Specific descriptions are as follows:

 

·        Album Cover – CONDITION: VERY GOOD+. The front cover has retained all its original rich colors. The full-size color photo of Elvis shows no fading, stains, scratches or discolorations. The front cover has no markings and still has a nice glossy finish for an album of its age. The back cover has (1) an orange ink owner marking at the top and (2) faintly stamped vendor “House of Music etc.”, also at the top. The back cover shows mild age toning at the bottom, top, and sides with no stains or blemishes. The cover has one 1-3/4" seam tear / split in the top right corner (see photo no. 20). Its black lettered spine markings (1) “LPM-1254 Elvis Presley” and (2) the iconic RCA logo terrier mix “Nipper” and “LPM 1254” are clear, bright, “like new” (see photographs nos. 17-19 ). 

 

 

·        Vinyl – CONDITION: VERY GOOD+. Seldom played, its vinyl playing surfaces are very clean and bright with a total of 1-2 very faint, minimal light hairlines. There are no scuffs or scratches. Vinyl has a rich, attractive gloss. Labels: Side 1 – has a 1.5” scratch mark cutting across Nipper’s gold gramophone (photo no. 13), minimal spindle wear, no discoloration or stains. Side 2 – VG+ condition, no scratches, minimal spindle wear, no discoloration or stains.

Purchased at The House of Music, New Rochelle, NY. (stamped, see photos no. 4 & 5) Always stored upright, kept in dry, non-smoking homes.
