DESCRIPTION OF ITEM:
RARE Original MONO Microgroove 1st.Pressing of
Paul Chambers Sextet's (Whims Of Chambers) LP
Also featuring Donald Byrd, John Coltrane, Kenny Burrell, Horace Silver and Philly Joe Jones
Record label: Blue Note Cat.# BLP 1534 Year~1957
The condition of the Vinyl is Poor-Good-. I have taken a couple of pictures in a different lighting/setting for you to be able to see the extensive surface wear on this album. As you can see in the (2 last pics.) photos of the surface of the album and it looks worked, but I have listened to it a few times over already and surprisingly there is crackling and surface noise throughout but only a few loud pops and No skips! So it actually sounds shockingly better than it looks. Still a load and enjoyable album.
If you are a collector and don't mind Wear to your vinyl to be able to get your hands on a rare LP then this one is for you. I am not hiding that it is in poor-good condition but if you truly want this album and at a much lower price (since mint is $$$$) this is a steal for you
The vinyl's dead wax has on both sides the RVG, EAR stamp and Cat.# BN-LP-1524. Also took close-up picture. Label's address is 47 West 63rd. New York 23
This is a bit of a harder combo of "Mono cover and LP" to come by. Record's label address is 47 West New York and featuring on the front of the cover is the Names of the other members and has the 43 West 61st. address on the back at the bottom center of the cover. Maybe made right atter the move from 767 Lexlington New York 21 to 43 West address?
The condition of the Jacket is VG-VG+ with some little age and corner wear, also someone wrote down a name and date when they must have purchased it. On the back at the top center of the cover. (see pic.)
will also combine other items for you to save on shipping
I take my time and pack very safely with all the edges of the Box fully taped with the words "fragile" and "handle with care" on the Box
