Genesis – Nursery Cryme UK LP Pink Scroll Charisma – CAS 1052 1971 1st press E.J. Day Textured Gatefold sleeve
CAS 1052 A-1U and B-1U
The vinyl The very rare vinyl is in near excellent condition and plays with the rich sound you expect from this the very sort after Pink Scroll label issue. The vinyl has a very high sheen on both sides and looks beautiful with the only fault being a needle spot / mark, i imagine from the needle being dropped. Having played this LP throughout there is only the lightest of audio recognition of this mark with a very light click for a couple of revolutions. The sound quality from beginging to end otherwise is superb with little or no background noise.
Labels The labels are in mint condition with no sign of use
The sleeve The Textured E.J.Day gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition with some very light spots of wear only and in beautiful condition otherwise
The inner sleeve The inner sleeve is in very good condition just some light creasing

Record Collectors Grading System
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Un-played should be Mint
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc
FAIR: The record is
still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays
considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or pertly missing
