This 83-page luxury art book was published in 2000 in celebration of the first exhibition in homage of Cuban Master Mario Carreño after his passing, at Alfredo Martinez Gallery in Coral Gables, Florida.
The book includes an introduction by Alfredo Martinez, a poem by former Miami Herald Art Critic Armando Alvarez Bravo ("The Old Master as an Ideal Retrospective View of his Works"), a poem by Cuban activist and poet Jorge Valls ("Andrea and Mariana"), and an essay by Cuban Art Critic Carlos M. Luis ("Carreño and His World"). In English and Spanish. This catalog contains 22 color photos of the artist's works, illustrating several decades of his style.
