RARE CHICANO R&B FROM SOUTH TEXAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION
SONNY ACE BORN TO BE A LOSER / LAREDO DISCO PAN AM 45 PA-4002 CARDBOARD SLEEVE
San Antonio's West Side Sound was a major influence on artists such as Doug Sahm and Augie Myers (Sir Douglas Quintet, Texas Tornados) and is a mixture of R&B, Rock'n'Roll, Tex-Mex and Sth. Louisiana styles. Throw in a Swamp Pop song by Mississippi-born Jimmy Donley, and a sax instrumental ('Laredo'), and you have this Excellent condition 45 rarity. Very small amounts of minor wear on the sleeve, labels and vinyl. Comes with protective plastic outer sleeve.
