Final Glyn Johns Beatles Get Back Mix w 18 Deep Cuts Featured In Rolling Stones with the DEEPEST Outtakes! Read Below! (CD artwork may vary from shown pics but the CD will be the same)
THIS IS THE BEST QUALITY I'VE EVER HEARD THIS LET IT BE/GET BACK MIX! And then after the best Let It Be mix you've ever heard, the next 18 bonus tracks are even better including the best deep down outtakes ever!!
Here's an example of some of the dialogue (There was a write-up on this CD in the Feb. 2003 issue of the Rolling Stones Mag. These portions from the 18 Bonus Tracks are highlighted in the Mag!); John says to Pete Sellers, "Remember when I gave you that grass in Piccadilly?" ... Peter Sellers, "I do and man it really stoned me out of my mine. Acapulco Gold, wasn’t it? It really was really fantastic. I’m not holding any right now, I'm sorry. Lennon, "We've given it up, as stated by Hunter Danier in The Beatles Actual life story." [The 1968 authorized biography by Hunter Davies]..... Peter, "I'm sorry about that, fellas. If I'd known I was going to see you, I'd have had some on me, cause I know how you love it. ... Paul, "Gottcha, Pete, can you dig it? .... Sellers, "Oh yes, I can dig it!" Paul, "You want to make the scene for the gents lavatory?" .... Sellers, "That's a groove, guys. Well, guys, see you." ... Lennon, Bye bye." Paul, "Too much, Pete" .... Sellers, "Way out",......... Paul says, "Just don't leave the needles laying around. We've got a bad reputation now, with John getting busted ".... John, "I know what it's like for us showbiz people, they're under a great strain, and they need a little relaxation!" Paul blurts out, "SLEEP!" John replies, If it's a choice between that and exercise, drugs win hands down, I say hand down. Referring to shooting up, (Rolling Stones states he was a heroin addict) ..... Yoko Ono, "Shooting is exercise!" John, "Shooting is exercise. Oh, yeah, especially for the birds and then a very distinct sounds of snorting, but I'll leave that one to your judgment since this an audio CD .
We find out why "Doris is getting her oats". Doris is one of Johns admirers where we hear George saying, There's a letter for you John... its Doris and then he laughingly reads out loud, "I can't get enough of you" with Johns reply, I can’t keep off of it! A rare moment Yoko was not present. That stuff is all fun, but the real importance of this invaluable CD is the interactions behind the scene such as the truth of George's abuse and struggles to get a song in edge wise with the constant bashing of his songs. George states, "I My Mine it's called, should I sing it to you?" as he pulls the paper out of his pocket to play it to the band for the very first time. During this first playing of this incredible 3/4 timed waltz song John goes on and on how, "we are a ROCK AND ROLL BAND boom, boom, this song sounds odd". In track #5 Paul actually comes up with the brilliant bridge of I Me Mine, he says, "what if we broke up the waltz bit with a 12 bar 1-4-5 rock bit? So Paul added a 4/4 time beat against George's 3/4, just a brilliant move ... and Paul never takes any song writing credit at all! I just love this kind of stuff.
The final Glyn Johns compilation of the Legendary Get Back LP with 18 extra deep uncut outtake tracks all in the highest direct to digital quality available! Assembled just one day after the last official Beatles recording sessions in January 1970, this lineup features notable differences from the common Spring 1969 compilation on As Nature Intended ............. Here's a track listing.
1) One after 909
2) Medley; Rocker, Save The Last Dance, Don't Let Me Down, I Dig A Pony, I've Got A Feeling
3) Get Back
4) Let It Be
5) For You Blue
6) Two Of Us
7) Maggie Mae
8) Dig It
9) The Long and Winding, Road; NO ORCHESTRA yea!
10) I Me Mine
11) Across The Universe
12) Get Back (reprise)
The 18 bonus Tracks are from the best of the CD titled; DFS (Direct From Source) UNCUT UNHEARD SESSIONS; heavy duty underground, I've never seen anything like it. For me this is what it's all about, the real guts of these guys. Tracks never meant to be released revealing the true inner workings of the Fab 4.
#13, Paul and Ringo arrive first.
#14 Paul and John take charge using foul language, Paul actually says F**K FACE to George. Paul belittles George. I won't play if you don't want me to! Proclaims George. Poor George
#15 Talking quite openingly about drugs.
#16 George introduces I Me Mine. It moves through 3 different stages from the very 1st time introduced, to a John Glyn finished mix, wow, it's quite beautifully done.
#17 John gives George a hard time about I Me Mine. Run along son we're˜re a ROCK AND ROLL BAND.
#18 Paul comes up with a brilliant bridge for I Me Mine.
#19 John jams Get Back and asked, Are your going to release this one? We'll try to record it first. (While playing the cool Get Back lead he says, this is my women tone.
#20 John and Paul totally blows up at George once again for an unwanted suggestion using very foul language. Paul works with Billy Preston on a nice off beat chord during the lead section of Get Back.
#21 George talks about going solo. I'm going to do me for a while and Yoko jumps right in on that one saying, That's GOOD!
#22 George introduces All Things Must Pass.
#23 Paul suggests that George do All Things Must Pass as a solo without the band, would you prefer to do it on your own with an acoustic? It doesn't sound like a group song to me! John comes in, "It sounds odd to me. It's a bit of a drag". They work on it for a while.
#24 Another quality mix of All Things Must Pass, with the Beatles!
#25 At the end of All Things Must Pass George really gets an electrical shock and the first cuss word pops out. You're going to cop it if this lad dies. Paul jokes.
#26 Paul tells a cool story about being pulled over by an English cop, taxes, pot and LA hippies. John says, don't they do our taxes in the office? Paul says, No, John says, O My my! Oops.
#27 Two Of Us, with the wrong feel. George is laying down a heavy Get Back guitar riff that wasn't working and Paul jumps all over George ... again. John jumps in to save George and starts playing Across The Universe, becoming a very spiritual moment. It was as if the beautiful laid back song poured a bucket of cool water on the fire.
#28, When Ringo was sick on a Swedish tour Paul talks about giving the replacement drummer a hard time because he was eyeing up all the women in the audience so he wasn't ready. So Paul quickly yells out, 1-2-3.... and the replacement freaks. Great stuff.
#29 John speaks on the Butcher Cover, he liked it!
#30 Paul talks about wanting to play live again. This CD literally has outtakes all the others skipped over! You can actually hear the cameras and the studio tapes all being turned on and off, and when they are all off we really experience the real inner makings of the Beatles. Everyone not acting under the spotlight and this is what makes this CD unbelievable. We all got a good taste of the dynamics and tensions from the movie and the normal outtakes but when everything is off is when the truth of this band and these sessions are experienced.
