Black Sabbath : Paranoid 1Y2 / 2Y1
This second pressing (no Bear credit) plays with very impressive audio with only minimal interference and Side B in particular is stunning.  It has the large Swirl above the spindle hole and 'VERTIGO' below it.
The  gatefold is in excellent condition and the original Swirl inner has only a couple of small splits.

Visual grading
For such an early pressing this is a stunning looking vinyl!  It has an incredible mirror-like glossy sheen and does not have too much spindle wear either.  Side A has only 3/4 very faint hairlines and also just the one very small scratch that is very difficult to spot!  Side B is beautiful!  I can only detect a couple of very faint hairlines and at first glance it looks 'as new'!  One of the most impressive second pressings I have ever seen plus the labels and run out grooves are in fantastic condition also.
Play grading
From the very first groove 'War Pigs' plays with super clear audio and no intrusive interference.  There are no clicks or pops and it continues to play in the same stunning way.  Even the very quiet section prior to the first vocal plays beautifully with only one faint 'tick' and barely any static.  The clarity on the vocal is then very impressive and again no interference.  From then on the power and depth of the audio is of a very high standard although about 1.5 minutes from the end there are annoyingly 5/6 rather loud clicks due to the very small scratch.  After that section 'high end' audio resumes and it plays with exceptional audio to the end.  'Paranoid' has only a couple of static sounds on the intro and then plays with a fabulous deep rich sound.  There is barely any 'background' and this is a stunning version of this classic.  There are no clicks or pops, just a couple of faint 'ticks'.  'Planet Caravan' has one click on the intro and a little static but still plays very clearly.  As it continues there is some static here and there and a little 'hiss' in the background but this is largely non-intrusive.  There are a small number of clicks towards the end so I would say it deserves a VG+ grading.  This is of course a very quiet track and in the main the audio plays clearly but yes there is some 'background'.  'Iron Man' has a small number of gentle 'ticks' on the intro and then plays with mega powerful audio and no interference!  The sonic quality is superb and this track provides a stunning end to the side and is one of the 'cleanest' versions I have ever heard.
'Electric Funeral' on S2 plays with wonderful audio from the very start.  A deep foreboding track the power is immense and has such a strong bass line.  There is no obvious interference apart from one click near the end and it really does play incredibly well.  'Hand Of Doom' has a little static/light crackle on the intro but the music still plays very clearly.  As the vocal begins there is no 'background' and then continues to play with real quality.  The mega quiet bass sections play beautifully with barely any 'background' and the riffs etc play with superb power and depth.  Wow this is a fantastic version and the vast majority grades as Near Mint it is that good.  'Rat Salad' has a very gentle 'hiss' on the intro but it really is very much in the background and non-intrusive.  The remainder of this instrumental is without fault and displays audio of superlative quality.  The drum solo plays so cleanly and is easily the best I have heard.  'Fairies Wear Boots' ends the album with sublime quality and again there is no interference of any note.  This is without Near Mint if not better the clarity and strength of the audio is second to none and you could not wish for a more impressive version.  Even the fade out plays nigh on perfectly.
The Gatefold The laminated gatefold is in superb condition with only very minor shelf wear.  The edges and wide spine are practically untouched they are so clean and there is hardly any corner wear either.  The opening edge has only the bare minimum of handling wear.  The front cover is extremely clean with no marking and no laminate lift and only a small number of faint creases around the edges.  The back cover is also in great shape with only a couple of tiny white 'specks'.  The VO price Code can be seen top right.  The inside of the gatefold is in lovely condition with just the usual tape mark running along the top edge.  There is one white scuff area just above Iommi's head.  A very impressive example overall.
Vertigo Inner sleeve
The poly-lined large swirl Vertigo inner has only two very small side splits, 1cm and 5cm, a little creasing and a small amount of age related fading around the edges.
The labels
The Vertigo swirl labels are in superb condition with not very much spindle wear.  There is no marking or writing and they retained their 'white' colour extremely well.  Great examples.
