Capitol Records
“Meet The Beatles!”
THE BEATLES
Incredibly rare and unique 100% authentic copy of Meet the Beatles in a factory sealed condition. The back cover contains a RIAA 9 designator number and it can be assumed this copy was pressed at Capitol Records' Jacksonville, Illinois pressing plant circa 1967, but finding a copy of the Jacksonville's Mono pressing with RIAA 9 and 1st Version cover without the "Produced by George Martin" credit on the back cover is impossible. Yet, it's right in front of you. The front cover has a full black dot at the top right corner. If you try finding a cover with a full dot, it's most likely you won't be able to find one. I don't think it was done on purpose, most likely, the copies you'll be finding will have one half of the dot on the front cover with the other half wrapped around the back cover, the way it was supposed to be. Therefore, the full dot was caused by a factory manufacturing error, which led to the uniqueness of this cover! The front cover has a bright brown "Beatles" banner, typical for the 1st pressing. This copy is from a private collection and comes with an original unused promotional teaser "The Beatles Are Coming!" wigs sticker, which you could affix to the cover yourself if you'd want to. This teaser sticker is among the earliest known items of Beatles memorabilia and was a part of Capitol's initial January 1964 commercial plan to promote the release of the "Meet The Beatles" album and "I Want to Hold Your Hand" single. It's very rare to find an unused sticker like this. Original cardboard paste over cover is still factory sealed and in amazing condition. Super clean without any ring wear or splits / tears to the shrink wrap. White clean back cover with only some very light age discoloration along the mouth with the bottom corners having a very light bumping.

POLICY:
Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid. Unfortunately, I don't ship to Germany or Russia. I apologize to the buyers from these countries in advance.
