 Original 100% authentic very early factory sealed copy of Deep Purple Machine Head, which is considered to be a monster of rock, released by Warner Bros. in 1972. Original very early copy with an incredibly rare "Includes Their Single SMOKE ON THE WATER" hype sticker, containing the 1st issue 4-digit BS 2607 catalog number, affixed to the shrink wrap on the front cover. 1st print gatefold cover with the Warner Bros. logo and song title credits at the bottom right corner of the back cover, which is missing on the subsequent pressings. Some of the copies of Machine Head came with a fold-out insert poster with the song lyrics and credits, and most likely, you'll find this poster inside this copy as it's heavier than a standard issue, weighing approximately 360g. This copy ISN'T a record club RCA Music Service edition with the R113813 at the bottom left corner of the back cover. The gatefold interior contains black and white photos of the band members, production shots, information about the album and credits. The rigid spine contains the 4-digit BS 2607 catalog number along with the "Machine Head / Deep Purple" and "0598 ® 1972 - Warner Bros. Records Inc. Printed in U.S.A." text.
