Budgie is Ben Scholefield, son of the owner of Honest Jon's Records and a now LA based DJ and producer. The Good Book II - Chuuch Preach Tabernacle is his third studio album and another gloriously life enriching collection of hip hop. The whole record is imbued with exquisite soul samples, gospel overtness, found sound recordings and sensuous grooves. It's a feel good, heart warming work that crosses genres and generations with seamless fluidity.
