Back to back with Dalton's original recording, LITA have achieved a marvellous work of contrast on this new addition to their 7" covers series. Remarkably, the two recordings sound as timeless as each other, with the remastering job rendering both so impeccable that they could have easily originated from the same time. With Dalton's drum-backed original dealing in themes of unspoken thoughts and deeply buried, bottled-up emotion, Olsen lends a newly note-quivering, glissandoing, beatless sheen to the song.
