154

Format: LP

Record Label: 4 Men With Beards

Condition: New (brand new copy, but not sealed - I've put it in a plastic sleeve and separated the record to prevent seam splits during shipping. Also, important note: the sleeve was slightly damaged in shipping, it has a ding and minor creasing in the bottom left hand corner. This is my last copy though and these are out of print now)

* High quality reissue of their classic 3rd LP - 180 gram vinyl - original artwork, aside from the record label info - all three vinyl editions on the 4 Men With Beards label are now out of print.
* If Chairs Missing is the transition album from punk to post-punk, 154 is definitely of the latter genre. Synth moves to the forefront on this 1979 third album from Wire along with melodies that help humanize the electronic textures. Named for the number of gigs the band had played to that point, 154 shows how far this band had come in three years over three albums.
