"Near Excellent Condition "
this has fantastic clear audio!

Good collectable copy, clear audio no skips or jumps on our Rega 3, would grade vinyls as Near Excellent condition, ( some light scratches , hairlines and  removal scuffs which don't affect playback ) a little static in quieter passages which may improve with a professional clean.

Jimi on its launch said " I made this album with Stereo in mind" so listen....*nuff said*

Tracks include , Electric Ladyland, Crosstown Traffic, Gipsy Eyes, Voodoo Chile (extended original version and slight return) Long Hot Summer Night...Rainyday women, Come on...
most;y recorded in Electric Lady studios in Greenwich Village New York in 68 Jimmy was living and playing there every day and the music here is some of his best work ...

as Jimi said at the time "i made this album with "stereo" in mind , "

great colors to describe the sky .....

The double album sells now with "Blue Text" for £400+ in this condition, buy an original 1968 white text copy here for much less...

The "Electric Ladyland" Album on original track labels 1st pressings at a great price ... this record sounds so good and clear, no major problems to report.

this is the original 1968 first press Matrixes on UK Track records.

The "Ladies" cover

Near Excellent Condition (cover)

pictures in the listing are of the item for sale " what you see is what you get here"

Light laminate creasing on the front and rear of the sleeve, minor ringwear at front, overall great laminate condition in photos, no writing, names, in great shape for 49 years! kept safe in its pvc sleeve for many years , its not perfect as this has been handled and is almost 50. The spine is in good order light storage removal wear on laminate here, the gatefold pics and inside laminate very clean with only slight creasing. No rips, tears or worrying fault repairs.

The records
label with A side D on disc NO ERROR! (a two record set)
Label B and C is labeled (a two record set) normal

to explain these were made for old style auto changers so you could play side A then drop side B, then then turn both over drop side C then D etc....(perish the thought!) but yes they did!

NOTE we see many reports of "hey Ive got a rare press A and D..." (this is Normal )  like this one.

Near excellent    A1 B2 and A2 B2 "Etched and corrected 8"  the matrix which isn't on later copies we have seen...

This is very early in the run in our view...

great vivid labels some spindle marks plays clean, some light scratches with some hairlines and small removal scuffs no serious issues on our Rega 3 or the super fussy light tracking Kenwood deck we use to grade, very few pops and clicks in quieter parts but nothing to disrupt pleasure of this great recording (we have not cleaned as this is a personal thing) this is a first press in great order!
the "acid test" of the intro to "And the Gods Made Love" and the start to "Rainy Day" are very clean with amazing audio from this 49 year old.
There is mark scuff running on side B from*Gipsy Eyes to Burning of the midnight lamp* which did not cause any issues on playback otherwise excellent.

no writing stickers or names on labels.

Plays fantastic with bright clear sound and amazing clear bass, may benefit from a professional clean (we don't do this as it's an individual thing) some background static is noticeable in the quieter passages but nothing to disrupt playing no sticks or jumps on our Rega 3.

any questions please ask!

Overall a great no worrying faults copy!
