Warning: Serious collectors only. Reviews for this collection are very mixed. The 4-LP, 72 track box set from JBR Inc. Records entitled THE FIRST AUTHENTIC 1950s ROCK & ROLL COLLECTION (SQ-95717) is a frustrating example of bad re-engineering. Some tracks play too fast while many have undergone the most bizarre of fake stereo mixing, with silly ping-pong channel shifts abundant. Premature fades are also used. No track times are given and there's no liner notes on an item that was once offered via a 2-minute TV commercial.
