This auction is for an original mono 1st pressing copy of the American Capitol LP 'Magical Mystery Tour'.

The mono presses of this LP are getting increasingly hard to find. By 1967 the mono format was pretty much dead in America and, by the time the White Album came out the year after, the format had been completely discontinued by Capitol. These original mono presses hardly sold at all when it was released back in 1967 and are getting pretty hard to find these days.

This copy would make a perfect collection filler!

The cover is pretty heavily worn and is definitely showing its age. The front cover is showing some wear and discolouration. There's a small tears bottom right in the slick and at the top just to the left. Back cover, again, has wear and showing a light disc impression. Both top and bottom seams have splits but haven't gone completely across. The spine is uncrushed and the title is legible, but there's a wear mark in the middle, but no split.. The gatefold has yellowed a little with some light dirt buildup in places. The booklet front and back page are stuck in but the remainder of the booklet has gone. A pretty worn cover, but holding okay.   Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG-

The playing surface has lost a little of its shine and has a fait amount of light scuffing but nothing really heavier. 'Tyler' (Thanks, Tyler) has scratched their name in the deadwax on side 2 at the 5 o'clock position. Looks like it could also benefit from a professional clean but, overall, isn't looking bad!

The labels are clean, crisp and clear with bright text. There's a little, light spindlewear and the side 1 label has a couple of little marks but nothing intrusive. Both have a little whitening around the centrehole..

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
