Rare modal jazz session on the great Strata-East Records label. This features trombonist John Gordon joined by an incredible group that includes Lisle Atkinson on bass, Andrew Cyrille on drums, Stanley Cowell on piano, Roland Alexander on sax and flute and Charles Tolliver on trumpet. Tracks are “Step By Step,” “P+G Incorporated,” “Dance of the Ymas,” “No Tricks/No Gimmicks,” “Meking Memories” and “Activity.” Recorded in 1975. Don’t ever see this one!

This is a beautiful copy. The cover is still in the original shrink wrap. The vinyl is clean and glossy and looks unplayed. I grade this conservatively: M-/M- (cover/vinyl).
