FREE SHIPPING for ALL my items shipped within the USA, ALWAYS! All internationally shipped items will be processed through Ebay's Global Shipping Program - you pay me directly for the item and pay Ebay's GSP for the shipping. Enjoy!
PLEASE READ THROUGH DETAILS BELOW BEFORE PURCHASE AND FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE GOLDMINE RECORD GRADING SCALE BRIEFLY DESCRIBED BELOW!
ALSO, REGARDING RECORD CLEANING - IF YOU ASK 5 DIFFERENT RECORD COLLECTORS THEIR PREFERRED METHOD TO CLEAN YOU WILL GET 5 DIFFERENT ANSWERS AND EACH MIGHT BE OFFENDED BY THE OTHER COLLECTOR'S METHOD OF CLEANING. WITH THAT SAID, MANY IF NOT MOST OF MY LISTED RECORDS COULD ALL USE A CLEANING, WHICH I WILL LEAVE IN THE BUYER'S HANDS. GRADING WILL REGARD SCRATCHES AND SCUFFS TO THE VINYL ONLY; NOT DIRT/DUST/FINGERPRINTS/ETC.
I HAVE ADDED 8 PHOTOS FOR YOU TO SEE THE CONDITION OF THIS JACKSON BROWNE ALBUM! 12". 1 LP.
Self-titled or 'Saturate Before Using' - SD 5051 - USA Printed.
White Asylum label with the "heaven's doors" logo at top in a circle. ST-AS-712383 printed near bottom of label. Pen markings on label, both sides, next to favorite tracks of previous owner. Otherwise label has endured some scuffing, markings, small stains, tanning.
Vinyl run-out info on side 1 reads as: ST-AS 712383-1A (followed much later by) \T (or perhaps that's 'IT' or perhaps even just an incidental small scratch next to the 'T'?) (followed much later by) V. I took some photos of these. I couldn't capture the V to save my life but it is beneath the bottom of the label.
Jacket was printed with a textured 'burlap' feel (I believe later reprints just have a smooth texture). Jacket has some loosened glue where top edges meet (not splitting and fortunately an easy fix). Open edge is on the right SIDE of the jacket; NOT top-loading. Jacket has some dog-ears, ring-wear, edge wear, scuffing. Overall jacket is VG-.
Record is VG (PLAY GRADED), with some scratches; no skips - rather light hiss occasionally and most surface noise on the first half of the first song on Side B.
No custom inner sleeve; just a plain white one that has become worn and tanned with age.
We use Goldmine® grading as our grading base, which breaks down like this (please do read through this record grading if you are not familiar with it):
M (mint) Record is new, shiny, never played.
NM (near mint) Record is like new, probably played a few times, but it doesn't effects on the quality of a sound.
EX (excellent) Record in great shape, may have light marks, played more than a few times but low in surface noise or no surface noise.
VG+ (very good plus) Record has been played more times, it has more marks and surface noise, it doesn't skip.
VG (very good) Record has been played many times, may be more surface noise, but it shouldn't skip while playing.
G (good) Record is in bad condition, this is worth only for archive items - just to have that until you find better.
P (poor) Record is a mess and probably will skip (Goldmine doesn't actually offer a "poor" rating but this is how we would describe POOR).
WHEN I SHIP RECORDS I SHIP THEM ON TOP OF THE JACKET, NOT INSIDE. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THIS IS THE COMMON AND PREFERRED WAY TO SHIP A RECORD. THIS KEEPS IT FROM CUTTING THROUGH THE CLOSED SIDES OF THE JACKET DURING SHIPPING. I SHIP IN CARDBOARD RECORD BOXES AND I USE BUBBLE WRAP (WHEN THE BOX ALLOWS ROOM FOR IT; OTHERWISE RECORDS ARE SNUG AND SAFE ENOUGH WITHOUT IT) TO ENSURE YOUR ITEM ARRIVES SAFELY.
