Deep Purple "shades of deep purple" for any collector or deep purple fan this is a must have. Released in 1968 (50yrs ago) this is recorded on the parlophone black with yellow writing label PCS7055 matrix run-out numbers side 1 YEX 689-1 side 2 YEX 690-1 making this an original first pressing. the cover is complete without rips it dose have some minor edge/shelf wear to be expected after 50 yrs,the spine is legible, the vinyl is very good plays through without jumps just the odd click in quiet parts most likely build up of static so would recommend a pro-clean, i dont have the proper stuff to do this. the labels are both very good no writing or stickers on them and only minor spindle wear, inner sleeve very good condition, this is a fantastic collectors piece i was tempted to frame this and keep it as a talking point, thank you for looking and please see photos this will be sent royal mail sign for and insured if you are bidding from outside of the UK please contact me first so i can give you a more accurate postage cost

On 10-Aug-18 at 22:17:16 BST, seller added the following information:i have had quite a few messages regarding buy-it-now price first of all it is fantastic the interest people have shown in this rare Deep Purple debut album(so thank you very much for all the messages and offers) it would be unfair for me to add a buy-it-now price now people have started bidding or have it in their watch list. I know there are a couple of these albums on E/bay which are first press yellow on black parlophone label which do have a buy-it-now price this isnt one of them and in the interest of fairness i will let the auction run its coarse so everyone has a fair crack at owning this classic album, many thanks
On 13-Aug-18 at 03:30:48 BST, seller added the following information:i will post abroard but i will only use royal mail i know they are not the cheapest but due to the value of this album i want it insured and i have had some issues with other courier services leaving items in wheelie bins or behind the gate regardless on weather conditions.
