This is BOB DYLAN self-titled DEBUT 1962 Mono 1st Press CL 1779 6-Eye labels LP, original pressing by Columbia Records, 1962 with 1a/1b stampers!!   Cover has "4" stamping lower right hand corner which is consistent with first state mono covers.  Vinyl is a strong VG  with some light surface scratches, nothing I can feel.   Cover solid with no splitting, but does have some edge wear with light fraying on bottom but not split, surface wear, some light staining in spots, please look over photos as I took several with different angles.   Record has been played some, but NOT abused, still very much in decent shape to add to any collection! 

I recently purchased this record and was shocked to see it was the original 1st pressing 6-eye labels!!  The 6-eye label is very rare because when it came out Dylan was not a big star and Columbia Records did not sell many and this was the only Dylan record pressed on a 6-eye label by Columbia before they discontinued the 6-eye label.  It wasn't until later in the 60s after Dylan took off, that Columbia Records pressed it again on a 2-eye label and later re-issued it again in the 1970s and so forth.  So 99 percent of the time you find this album, it will NOT be an original 6-eye pressing.  

 In over 20 years of buying, selling & collecting records, I have never had the 1st 6-eye pressing of this record so I hate to sell it, but could use the money to buy even more records!!  Anyway, a piece of Rock n Roll History, one of Dylan's rarest records, don't miss your chance to pick it up!!
