For sale is Bob Dylan's Another Side Of Bob Dylan, originally released in 1964 on Columbia Records as a monophonic record and reissued in 1965 in this stereo version. It has a red label with a white "Columbia" at the top, with black "360 Sound Stereo 360 Sound" at the bottom. There is a black arrow before the first "360" and another black arrow after the second "Sound". There is printed "NONBREAKABLE" to the left of the center hole. There are two CBS logos, one on each side of the center hole around the outside rim of the label, that look like "eyes", and are called "2-Eyed" Columbia records for that reason. In the dead wax between these labels and the last track is etched a backward facing "S", followed by the matrix numbers 1-F/1-F, indicating that an early stamper was used to make this record at Columbia Records' pressing plant located in Santa Maria, California. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine, then put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve or insert that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this release. The cover is graded as VG+ because of some minor ring wear, corner blunts, some stress cracks forming along the top seam of the jacket, ink writing on the top of the back cover and some foxing on the lower left hand side of the front cover. The spine has color loss at the corners along with a little paper loss. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint for Side One because of some very minor sleeve marks and visually graded between VG+ and Excellent for Side Two because of sleeve marks and surface scratches, one of which is across the first two songs. I'm play grading Side One as Near Mint and play grading Side Two between VG+ and Excellent because of 20 seconds of ticking at the beginning of the first song on Side Two, along with occasional ultra low level surface noise, most noticeable during the quietest sections of playback. There were no skips or pops and both sides played all the way through. This is still one of the best copies of this album that I have ever seen or heard. This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection. I have more Folk albums, as well as records of all different genres, in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
