Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique discs, this one by  Hattie Noel.  The STRANGE thing about this disc is that on the "Mama" side, it echoes!  You can hear her say it once, and then it repeats while the 1st version is still play.  Pretty distracting, I'm guessing they must have had a production issue on this label (BLUE Records), which I'd never heard of before.  The Military Man side plays fine.  

  Several unique things about this auction:  First, this disc has lots of the original shine with some very light/light marks  grading by sight in normal room light.   I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint.  If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you. 

I don't claim this record is mint.  I took the time to play it and found the two sides to audibly average close to  VG+(excellent) with some scattered very light surface noise, although the Mama side has that echo. You can assign your own grade based on my comments and the grading scale shown below.  

Secondly, at the time of this listing, no recent past/present sales on e-bay !  NO COPIES FOUND FOR SALE OUT ON THE INTERNET !

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3),  NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Trailing wax:Side 1: "BR-109-A".  Side 2: "BR-109-B". Comments:I found the two sides to audibly average around VG+(excellent), but the Mama side is a bit difficult to grade because of the echo. You can assign your own grade based on my comments and the grading scale shown below.  A unique addition to your 78 RPM collection. Side 1:Comments: My military manA scattered very light surface noise with a few very light pops (3.2). Side 2:Comments: Mama likes to take her timeSome scattered very light surface noise and very light pops.  There is an echo on the recording, which I've never heard anything like that before, so, kind of difficult to grade - I'll let you decide on that one. I found it pretty distracting).

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)  3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise  3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops  VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)  VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise  G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise 

I normally ship 10" discs in 14"x14"x6" boxes.  Weight with box is about 2 pound 8 oz.  Shipping is:  $4.45 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing  = $6.15.

Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $6.15.  This includes delivery confirmation which enables you to track shipping of your package online.  Outside U.S., e-mail location to determine S/H costs prior to auction end.  Insurance / other methods of shipping cost extra.  Payment received within ten days of auction ending.
