Decca seems to favor the Brahms Piano Concerto #1, and there are no shortage of spectacular recordings of it! The Curzon/Szell, Rubinstein/Mehta, all have their stake in the canon of recorded history. Here is another great one with near perfect rapport and approach between Julius Katchen and Pierre Monteux. Incomparable sound by Wilkinson!
