I REMEMBER BUYING this album when it first appeared. I'd seen Pat Travers in concert a few times and he really delivered big time with tough no nonsence power trio heavy blues based rock. Bassist Mars Cowling blew me away - I'd never seen anybody 'work' a bass like him and Pat was, of course, just magical on guitar - he had a great look, too. So, when I bought this album I wasn't disapointed as it really delivered the goods. In my opinion it's probably Pat's best work, a solid consistant album with tond of great tracks like ''Rock N' Roll Susie', 'You Don't Love Me', 'Hooked On Music' and the title tracks. Check out the heavy ballard 'Stevie' and, of course, the live favourite 'Statesboro Blues'.

Guest appearances from Glenn Hughes on vocals and extra guitar from Brian Robertson.

If you are into prime mid seventies hard rock then this is truly an essential purchase.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
