The Beatles - 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' LP. PMC 7027

The Beatles 1967 UK 1st MONO pressing of the 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' LP. Released on the 1st June 1967, it is offered here FULLY COMPLETE with mono vinyl, spelling error gatefold mono sleeve, cutout insert and psychedelic red and white inner sleeve.

It is worth taking extra note of the original inner sleeve. Many of these become lost over the years (this LP is 50 years old this year) or are in poor condition. THIS IS AN EXCEPTION. Quite remarkably grading at EXCELLENT+ condition, the finest I have ever seen.

This particular copy has TWO PRINTING ERRORS on the rear sleeve. The track ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ is incorrectly listed as ‘A Little Help From My Friends’. It is spelt correctly on the vinyl label. The first line of the lyrics are also printed wrong as the song DOES NOT begin with the line “A Little Help From My Friends” as printed here but begins “What would you think if I sang out of tune”.

Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label in the desirable MONO format. Both vinyl labels feature the 'Sold in the UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd....' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side two label. Both sides of the vinyl have the vvery earliest matrix number for this release - XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1. This comes complete with the correct 1967 mono gatefold sleeve, cut out insert sheet (unused) and psychedelic red and white inner sleeve.

Side 1. XEX 637-1 3 APH

Side 2. XEX 638-1 7 AOA

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.

The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition. AMAZING. I will include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.

The insert is in MINT- condition. Unused.
