This was the very first official release, being released on the 22nd of March 1963 (MONO version) and later on the 26th of April 1963 (STEREO version). The Lp reached number one in; Disc Weekly, Melody Maker,  New Musical Express and The Record Retailer in the UK. Only to be knocked off by their next album With The Beatles.

 Amazingly the songs, which were taken from their first two singles and included a further ten songs, were all recorded in one marathon session at Abbey Road Studios. John wasn't feeling too well and got throught the 3 sessions in the one day by having milk, tea and Zubes lozenges....

QUALITY 16g...WOW-VERY HEAVY!!!
VG+!! Nice, heavy vinyl, with only light marks to her.
*CERTAINLY NO SKIPS OR JUMPS*
I have just finished listening to all of her (LOUD) and found only some very light and very occasional background noise. She has a superb rich deep bass reproduction, with clear and high peaks too!!
A gentle professional clean, I am sure she will  UPGRADE FURTHER!

Labels: EX-! There's a minimal amount of central hole wear as seen in the pictures-barely any. The labels stand out wonderfully clean, with no writing or rips. There are quite a few light spindle marks evident when angled towards the light-but nothing terrible and would not affect the joy of framing her.
 Outer rim text starts with "The Parlophone Co.Ltd" "Recording First Published 1963" stated under the printed matrix number.
NO "Sold In UK..." statement...Showing it is the 5th pressing.
NO WRITING
"KT" or possibly "MT" tax code to side 1.

It is the ORIGINAL "USE EMITEX" inner, with the poly lining.
In SUPERB condition.
Only carries light creasing-not even any discolouration!
MAGICAL
Certainly done her job in keeping the record in great condition!

( These were produced at roughly a ratio of 1:10, compared to the usual Garrod & Lofthouse covers)
 There is only slight wear to this cover!!
A few fingers of spidering emanating from the seams..Nothing at all to worry about.
There is some rubbing and light knocking to the corners, but again, nothing bad at all.
Lovely EJ Day flipbacks, with light wear-as can be seen in the photos.
