FULLY MATURING as a solo artist, Paul McCartney - now firmly recording under the band handle of Wings - delivered his most compelling work post Beatles. Indeed, the lead track 'Venus And Mars/Rockshow' suggested a return to the songwriting glory of his previous outfit being melodic, forceful and asembled with an amazing amount of loving care and attention. Other cuts that highlight this sense of maturity include 'Letting Go' and 'Listen To What The Man Said'. Consequently the bands appeal rocketted, healing old wounds and creating new friends moving his solo career into overdrive where he became the commercially most successful ex Beatle.

Great album, complete with the two rare posters, the unpeeled round sticker and astronomical strip sticker. 

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Super clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks and no other signs of use - possibly unplayed. Grades as top shop fresh MINT-!

Cover: Virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gatefold cover. Sharp corners, no ding, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight, stiff and uncrushed. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 43 years after release - shop fresh! Grades as stone MINT!

Inserts: Two posters, unpeeled round sticker, astronomical strip sticker and thick cardboard inner lyric sleeve (small seam split).
