This issue has the incorrect publishing credit “Dick James” changed to "Northern Songs". These gold/black pressings are equally as valuable as the first pressings but, I am led to believe that after the changeover to the “Northern Songs” credit and before the lettering change as in the next pressing, there were fewer of these pressed than the first pressing. My understanding is that only 900 were issued the reason for making this rarer than the first pressings.
The vinyl is in very good condition under light it has sleeve removal marks light scratches and scuffs. This does not affect the audio greatly and is very good with no skips or jumps the audio is a strong very good grading. There are the odd clicks and crackle but the audio is loud and this does not overtake the music. There is crackle on the run ins and in between tracks.
The cover is original and has the “photo Angus Mcbean” in the bottom right corner under the S of Songs. The cover is in fair condition has some rips and scuffs but still in one piece with some cello tape on the back covering a tear. The spine shows the name clearly and the rear has some writing and age related and handling discolouration.
The inner sleeve is original and has the thicker paper and plastic inner protective liner. This is in very good condition no rips tears or writing.
