The Beatles - Revolver
This exceptional copy of the Beatles seventh studio album is a complete and original MONO UK 1st pressing on the much sought after yellow and black Parlophone label.
The record features a rejected remix (remix 11) of ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’. This was changed to a latter remix on subsequent pressings after George Martin requested EMI paused production. It is unknown how many remix 11 copies exist.
This copy comes with front-side laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flip-back sleeve with small mono aural signifier to the front side and Dr. Robert misprint to the rear.
The matrix numbers and mother stampers tell us that the vinyl was one of the first few thousand records produced and was therefore probably a ‘day of release’ purchase.
The labels are the first variant which feature silver Times New Roman text and Dr. Robert misprint.
The album is complete with the original polythene lined die-cut Emitex 'protect your records' inner sleeve.
