Description of the record:

This is a double album by Led Zeppelin called “Physical Graffiti”; this is a first pressing matrix numbers A3, B5, C1 and D1; see below for further details:

Outer Sleeve graded Ex:

The outer sleeve has been graded as Ex, some edge ware. All the windows are intact. It ticks all the boxes as a first pressing. Top loading cover constructed of thick ridged card with the following text printed on the back; top centre.

The group name, record title and catalogue number run down the left hand side spine, viewed from the front these are printed in red.

Inner sleeves graded Ex:

The inner sleeves are printed in thick card with an untreated finish on the inside. They have SSK 89400/A and SSK 89400/B respectively printed on the back at the bottom right corner. Both inner sleeves are starting to seam split on one side.

1 inner sleeve has some pen marks in 5 of the windows (see picture).

Insert graded Ex:

Labels graded as Mint:

The labels are perfect; no sign of spindle ware. They are all clearly marked as “Made in the UK” and have NO circular WB (Warner Brothers) logo.

The records visually are very clean. The records are lightly played and are graded Ex. This is an original release on Swansong from 1975. The code for the album is SSK 89400; the matrixes and running order are listed below:

The records were graded using a Linn Adikt cartridge combined with a Gyger 2 stylus through an audiophile system. For grading definitions see the bottom of this advert.

The records will be packaged appropriately to prevent any damage from occurring during transit. Sealed records are not tampered with; if the records are not sealed then the following steps are taken. Records are removed from the outer sleeve to prevent damage occurring to the records or outer sleeve during transit. If records are housed in customised inner sleeves then the records are removed from the customised inner sleeves and placed in white inner sleeves. This prevents damage occurring to the customised inner sleeves such as seam splits and ring ware during transit.

M = Mint

 

M sleeve: No wear of any kind to the sleeve.

 

M record: No wear what so ever to the record. Any mint records in this collection will have been played only a handful of times.

 

Ex = Excellent

 

Ex sleeve: Some slight wear to the cover; some impression to the cover; no seam splits.

 

Ex record: Minimal wear; some scuffs; record plays close to perfect.

 

VG = Very Good

 

VG sleeve: Some ageing; minor wear to seams or spine; minor creasing, some impression.

 

VG record: Some surface scratching; some back ground noise but not obtrusive.

 

Gd = Good

 

Gd sleeve: Cover in poor condition; seam splits; tears.

 

Gd record: Surface scratching; back ground noise is obtrusive.
