For auction is the BARRY HARRIS TRIO's "Breakin' It Up," on Argo LP-644, MONO, 1958.

SOUND:

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. It sounded great, the only flaw being a little bit of soft "hiss" throughout. Pretty sure its the recording, not the vinyl, but I can't say for sure. Doesn't detract from the music at all. In my opinion, a very enjoyable listen!

VINYL:

Visually, the vinyl is about VG+. There are superficial light scuffs, but nothing that looks serious affected the playback. There are a few finger smudges that I'm sure can be cleaned more thoroughly.  This record has a white "promo" label. It is deep-grooved both sides.

COVER:

The cover is in great shape, VG+ or better. The edges are solid. The corners are a tiny bit softened, the upper right frayed a little. The front is clean, unmarked and very nice. The back has a tiny bit of aging, but is unmarked. It has a "DJ Copy" stamp. Overall, beautiful!

The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.

A very nice record. No reserve, bidding starts at $10.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.

If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
