For auction is LES McCANN's "Much Les," on Atlantic SD 1516, Stereo, GF, 1969. Promo edition. With Leroy Vinegar and Donald Dean.
SOUND: NM
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Beautiful, clean playback, almost flawless. Only a few brief, tiny tics keep it from Mint.
VINYL: NM
Visually, the vinyl looks almost new. Only a few very faint, superficial scuffs. Bright white "promo" labels are clean, with one or two faint spindle-marks.
JACKET: NM
The only flaws are a tiny scuff and a "promo" sticker on the front cover. All else is solid, straight, clean and unmarked.
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
First bid is $14, or buy-it-now for $18.20.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material. Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
