Tom Waits Closing Time - Vintage Vinyl/Record 1973 Asylum Records - White Label Promo (Very 1st Press)
This vintage record is in solid overall shape - I would rate both the jacket and the record a VG- (Very Good Minus). Both the jacket and record have been recently cleaned, and both have been re-sleeved with high quality polyethylene inner and outer sleeves.
The jacket shows some wear that includes a decent amount of creasing around the edges, some surface scratch marks, and wear/fading around the outer edges/spine. There looks to be some light seam repairs towards the outer edges with double sided tape.
The record itself has a medium amount of surface scratches, with some being minor hairlines and a few being more deep/noticeable. The white inner label is in very good shape with only minor signs of wear.
This is a rare early white label promo copy of this record - it is the US release SD-5061 first run press with the ST-AS-732731 PR catalog number on the white label. I believe this is the very first promotional press of this record before it switched to the blue clouds label.
