Here is a 57-year old FACTORY SEALED original 1967 first-press US "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" stereo LP. This album inside this cover was pressed from one of the first LP stampers ever produced and will sound as close to the original master tape than other pressings made after the master tape aged. It is 100% a first pressing since the back cover is missing both the MACLEN text in the lower right corner and the NEMS microprint along the spine--both of which were added later.

The good news...the shrink wrap is in really good condition for being nearly 60 years old with some small tears in the corners and two pieces missing (one in the lower left corner and one on the front to the left of John in his Pepper suit. There is an original $4.49 "Safeway Super" price sticker in the upper right corner and there are two original "breathe holes" (one on the front and one on the back).

The bad news...the LP was stored somewhere where dirt and some moisture made it under the shrink. The back cover slick shows some waviness as a result. It is amazing to think that the LP inside has been sitting in this sleeve for years unplayed and likely would be in MINT condition despite the issues with the cover.

This sealed OG Pepper is the only one we've come across in 30 years of record collecting. It will be packed well and placed in a Japanese resealable sleeve. Fast shipping from a trustworthy seller that has been on Ebay since 1999 with perfect feedback.

More sealed records being posted this week!
